Idyllc Spaces helped return a family of four’s basement back into a functioning space. The family had been living in the home for the past 5 years and throughout that time, rearing two children, having full-time careers, and just living life, the basement became a place of forgotten space. “Just in case” belongings lost under projects of repairs under holiday decorations, a common use of basements. Still accessing some household supplies and the washer/dryer, the basement was being accessed daily, but a place to push through as quickly as possible to return to their orderly lives in the rest of the home. Sound Familiar?
After three days of sorting belongings into save, donate, and trash/recycle we found the floors, the space was feeling alive, and functional and the head space was feeling lighter. Restoring the space back to a place of utility and ease.

“Working with Barclay’s energy and professional approach was exactly what was needed to dive in and organize! He is a great support on a myriad of levels, for the sometimes difficult process of editing and letting stuff go.
He is a good communicator and set clear expectations while also being open to letting the process unfold. I highly recommend him. My space feels so good now!”
